Transforming a 2013 Home into a Fully Integrated Smart Home
We transformed this beautiful home, originally built in 2013, into a fully integrated smart home, seamlessly connecting its essential systems into one intelligent, easy-to-use experience.
From the moment you arrive, the home is connected. We integrated the sliding driveway gate and garage door, allowing them to be conveniently controlled as part of the home's automation system. Inside, we brought together lighting, ceiling fans, Blinds, curtains and multiple HVAC systems, giving the homeowners greater comfort and control throughout the entire property.
Ambient Lighting Transformation
To elevate the atmosphere of the home, we also introduced custom ambient lighting throughout the key living spaces, including the living area, main bedrooms, and kitchen.
Carefully positioned LED lighting adds warmth, depth, and character to each space while creating the flexibility to set different moods throughout the day. From bright, functional lighting for everyday activities to soft, relaxing illumination in the evening, the lighting can be tailored to suit every occasion.
Fully integrated into the smart-home system, the ambient lighting can be controlled effortlessly alongside the home's other automated features, creating a seamless and personalised experience at the touch of a button.
One Connected Home
The result is a home where comfort, convenience, ambience, and security work together seamlessly. What was once a traditional 2013 build has been transformed into a modern, connected smart home—without compromising the home's existing character and design.
From the gate to the garage, from climate control to ambient lighting, and from everyday convenience to enhanced security, every element has been thoughtfully integrated around the way the homeowners live.

A Fully Integrated Smart Home from the Ground Up
This client reached out to us during the building stage, giving us the opportunity to plan and integrate the smart-home system from the very beginning of the project.
The vision was to create a home where lighting, HVAC, and ambient lighting could work seamlessly together, while remaining simple and intuitive to control. By getting involved early in the build, we were able to carefully plan the system around the home's layout, electrical requirements, and overall design.
We designed and installed a fully integrated automation system covering the home's lighting, climate control, and selected ambient lighting features. This allows the homeowner to easily control different areas of the house, create personalised lighting scenes, and manage the temperature for greater comfort and efficiency.
The ambient lighting was also carefully incorporated into the home's design to add warmth, depth, and atmosphere to key spaces, creating a more refined and inviting environment.
The result is a modern, cohesive smart-home experience, designed specifically around the client's needs and lifestyle—where technology works quietly in the background while providing effortless control, comfort, and ambience throughout the home.
Gladesville, Sydney
This 60-year-old home, with its original and outdated wiring, presented a unique and challenging project. Upgrading the electrical and control systems while preserving the existing wiring required careful planning, creativity, and close collaboration with the client.
Rather than undertaking extensive rewiring or making major changes to the home’s existing infrastructure, we worked closely with the client to design a smart control system that would integrate seamlessly with the house as it stood.
Despite the limitations of the older wiring, we successfully implemented HVAC and air-conditioning controls, additional lighting controls, and garage door control with minimal disruption to the existing electrical system.
The project demonstrates how thoughtful design and a tailored approach can bring modern smart-home functionality to an older property—without the need for a major rewiring project.
